This handsome rectangle in several sizes is complex in appearance, but relatively easy to work, delivering stunning results for the effort involved. Its heavily embossed areas are offset beautifully by lighter openwork stitches that provide contrast in weight and density. A few nupps and twist stitches add dimension with lacy openings to highlight the variety of textures, making this pattern a good candidate for silky yarns with a bit of sheen. Beads may be substituted for nupps if desired.
Sample is shown in the petite stole size, knit in Bare Naked Wools Modern Deco Lace, color Chrome.
