Samples shown are knit in Targhee Tango Worsted, color Finnish and Festivus 8.0 Worsted, color Tinsel
Suggested Yarns:
Festivus 8.0 Worsted, Kent Worsted or Aran, Confection Worsted, Stone Soup Worsted, Targhee Tango Worsted, or any sturdy worsted weight yarn with 50 to 65 yards per ounce that knits to pattern gauge
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, density, or yardage requirement.
Finished Size: approximately 12 inches in circumference around top cuff and 12.5 inches from cuff to heel
Yarn Requirements: 200 yards
Gauge: 20 sts and 30 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on larger needles (knit flat, washed, and air-dried)
Needles:
two size 5US (3.75 mm) 16- or 24-inch circular needles (or size to obtain correct gauge; may also be worked on DPNs or a single, 12-inch circular needle if desired)
size 3US (3.25 mm) DPNs for hanging loop (or .5 mm less than gauge needle)
cable needle several sizes smaller than gauge needle)
