A soft stocking cap in four sizes (XS/S/M/L) in a houndstooth textured fabric with buttoned brim. Substituting yarn and/or needles will result in an overall variation in size and drape.

size 3US (3.25 mm) 24-inch circular needle for brim or .5 mm smaller than gauge needle
