size 2.5US (3.00mm) 24-inch circular needle for body (or .25 mm smaller than hem needle) 
DPNs same size as body to graft final join (optional)

Not sure what to do next

I did the set up row and have no idea where to go next. If I follow the chart there are 5 stitches before the 1st marker. But I have only 3 stitches on mine. Poor directions.
