Difficulty: Intermediate

Suggested Yarns:
Bare Naked Wools Festivus 9.0 Worsted, Better Breakfast Worsted, Stone Soup DK or Worsted, Targhee Tango Worsted, Kent Worsted or Aran, or any worsted weight yarn that knits to pattern gauge.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, or yardage requirement.

Finished size for wrap(baby/lap blanket, throw):
18(32, 42) inches wide and 72(38, 50) inches in length (washed and blocked)

Yarn requirements:
1175(1100, 1975) yards

Gauge:
18 sts and 26 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on larger needles (washed and air-dried)
22 sts and 26 rows = 4 inches in cable pattern on larger needles (washed and air-dried) 

Needles:
size 8US (5.0 mm) needles for body or size to obtain correct gauge
size 6US (4.0 mm) needles for hems (or 1.0 mm smaller than gauge needle)
cable needle several sizes smaller than gauge needle (optional)
