Great Plains Stocking
Choose options
This striking stocking takes its inspiration from the American Craft Movement, with an allover “postage stamp quilt” pattern accented by colorwork in a Craftsman motif. Designed to engage the knitter with ever-changing stitchwork and tiny cable details—it’s a great way to use that special, single skein of heritage wool yarn along with leftovers in a contrasting shade. While the overall result is rich with texture, the stitchwork is quite simple, framed in a straightforward sock construction with both written and charted instructions. This project will fill that need for a final, festive quick knit to sit back and enjoy while getting your holiday cheer on.
