Distinct lines of decreases and openwork create the look of a grapevine trellis across the surface of this airy, lightweight scarf. The stitch pattern is simple to learn and work, with wrong side rows all in purl; this piece makes a great traveling project.  

Suggested Yarns:

Cormo Lace, Kent Lace, Modern Deco Lace, Shetlandia Fingering, Jacob Fingering, or any laceweight yarn which has approximately 400 yards per 2 ounces.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.

11”W x 48”L (blocked and stretched)

26 sts and 36 rows = 4” in stockinette (unblocked)
