This quick, easy-to knit scarf or cowl can be worked in two yarn weights (fingering or DK/light worsted) and five sizes (petite scarf/tall scarf)[S cowl/M cowl/L cowl] for a cozy layer on chilly days. Natural yarn colors enhance the fabric texture while richly-dyed yarns will dramatize the openwork and bold geometry. This project makes a great beginner or travel knit.
Suggested Yarns:
fingering weight: Stone Soup Fingering, Better Breakfast Fingering, or any light fingering yarn that knits to pattern gauge.
DK/light worsted weight: Stone Soup DK, Better Breakfast DK, Confection Worsted, Kent DK, or any springy DK/light worsted yarn that knits to pattern gauge
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape.
