Who doesn’t love a substantial cocoon of woolen warmth to fend off the cold of deep winter? This cozy cowl in two sizes (petite/tall), knit from squishy worsted weight wool is the answer for toughing out that bitter morning commute in style. Worked in reverse stockinette with short row shaping and accented by extravagant cabled panels, the piece falls into natural curves and folds to trap warmth near the neck and head. The deeper sections can even be pulled up to perform “hood” duty while scraping the car or waiting for the bus.
Sample shown here is knit in Kent Worsted, color Driftwood
