Blanket Statement 2015

A blanket for the ages, knit in motifs gleaned from favorite Knitspot patterns and featuring Bare Naked Wools natural yarn. Pattern instructions for blanket to be knit in blocks or strips, either style may be completed with the yarn quantities supplied by the club kits. Not sure about knitting a whole blanket? In addition, we will explore alternate design ideas using components from the blanket designs.

 

The blanket design will include 16 possible motifs to mix and match to create a large size blanket kit (approx. 50 inches wide by 70 inches long; appoxiamately 12 skeins of yarn in five shades) or a small one (approx. 30 inches wide by 40 inches long; 6 skeins of yarn in four shades). 

Choose to knit with BNWs in Stone Soup DK, Kent DK and Better Breakfast DK, or Breakfast Blend or any other yarn..

Stone soup small: granite, pumice, slate, river rock 

Stone Soup Large: granite, pumice, slate, river rock, marble 

Kent small: White caps (new shade), Tide Pool, Beach Glass, White Sand 

Kent Large: White Caps, Tide Pool, Beach Glass, White Sand, Mussel (new shade)
